Art Class Students

The art club is in crisis. A month ago, a pipe burst in the art room. Serious damage too. The flooding led to some mildew and possibly mold. As a result, the art room had to be closed for repairs. So now, the club didn't have anywhere to meet. Their leader, Yukina, turned to an old source for help. She pulled out her phone and made a text.

"Can we please meet at the Student Cafeteria on East Campus?"

"Sure."

Yukina breathed as she held her phone to her chest.

------

Noiz sat at the table near the window.

"What did you want to talk about?" she asked. Yukina bowed her head.

"Please help us!" she pleaded. "We don't have an art room for our meeting this weekend." Noiz blinked.

"Okay..." she said. "How can I help you?" The art leader grabbed her by the hands.

"Whoa, there," the kitty girl said. Yukina looked deep into her eyes.

"We're in a jam here," she said. "We really need a room for the weekend. Can't you help us?"

"But why me?" Noiz asked.

"Are you the head of the Animal House board or something?" the art club president asked.

"Me? Head of a board? Where do you guys get this stuff?"

"Please? We really need this. Can't we use your activity room?" Yukina looked at her like a sweet little angel. Noiz tried to look away. She finally puffed up her cheeks.

"I'll see what I can do," the kitty girl said.

"Thank you so much!" Yukina said, bowing.

"Yeah..." Noiz mumbled. She looked over at the window, frowning.

--------

"Why did you promise her something like that?" Mosh asked. Noiz rubbed the sides of her head.

"It just happened," she said.

"Where are you going to get a room?" he asked.

"I don't know, the activity room. That's big enough, right?"

"True... But there is one problem with that."

Noiz lifted her head. "What?"

"Artemis," Mosh said. His girlfriend rolled her eyes.

"Oh," she said, flatly.

"What are you going to do about him?" the mouse boy asked. Noiz shrugged her shoulders.

"Stroke his ego? Let Yukina plead her case? I mean, she's pretty enough."

"You wouldn't!"

"You're right. Looks like I'll have to stroke his ego a bit." Just saying that alone made her want to vomit.

--------

"You want me to do what?" Artemis asked in his office.

"Can the Art Club use the activity room this weekend?" Noiz asked again with her teeth clenched.

"Why?" he asked. The kitty sighed and rolled her eyes.

"Their room was destroyed by a busted pipe," she said. "I told you this twice already." Artemis rubbed the of head. His laughter made Noiz want to punch him in the face so badly. She took in heavy breaths. The annoying boss put down his hand.

"Sorry," he said. "I stopped listening a couple of minutes ago."

Lies, Noiz thought. "Right," she said instead.

"Who is the president of this art club again?"

"Suzuki Yukina."

Artemis looked up at her with big eyes. He struggled to say something, but no words came out. Noiz raised her eyebrow.

"Oh?" she asked. Artemis grabbed her by the hands.

"When is she coming?!" he asked.

"This weekend," Noiz said again as the wheels turned his head. Artemis gulped.

"Can I model for her?" he asked. "Please? Please?"

"As what?" the kitty asked. "A pantomime horse?"

"No! I want to model for them," Artemis said. "Please? You can have the activity room for the weekend if let me." Noiz gave him a devilish catlike smile.

"Okay," she said. "I'll see what I can do."

-Saturday Morning-

Noiz stood by the activity room doors. She looked at her cell phone. The girls should be coming here in ten minutes. Noiz looked down at the path. Her ears caught a horn honking in distance. A small van pulled up into the parking lot. Noiz walked over as the door opened. Yukina and the club stepped out.

"Thank you for this!" she said, bowing.

"Yes, yes," the kitty said. She walked around to the van to help the girls get their equipment.

"And don't worry," Noiz said. "Everything is already cleaned up and ready. I even got you a model to work with." The girls squealed behind her. Noiz rolled her eyes, but kept her personal opinions to herself. She would have to in order to keep up her plan.

The activity room's furniture was covered in sheets. Yukina, Noiz, and the girls set up the easels and equipment. Noiz moved into the back corner and looked at her phone. Any time now, she thought.

"Hello, ladies!" a man spoke up. Everyone looked up to see Artemis walking into the room from the hallway. Noiz covered her mouth as she tried not to laugh at his white toga and olive leaf crown.

"What the hell are you wearing?" she asked.

"I'm a god from Rome," he said.

"Sure you are," the kitty said. Artemis ignored her as he turned to the art club.

"I am the manager of Animal House," he said. "My name is Artemis, nice to meet you. Please treat me well." He bowed like a gentleman. Noiz smirked as she bided her time. The painting session started off easy enough. Artemis stood as the ladies painted him as a Roman god holding up a torch. He enjoyed the attention focused on him. Meanwhile, Noiz counted down in her head. About halfway through the session, she got down to the five.

Five... Four... Three... Two... One.

Noiz tugged at the hem of Artemis' toga, pulling it completely off. The whole art club stood with their jaws dropped and red-faced. Poor Artemis stood clueless as the gravity of the situation started to sink in. When the damage was done he just wanted to run away and hide.
