Bring Our Lady Back

Three weeks went by and nothing got any better. The boys couldn't take the new rules at the Animal House. June didn't like how Artemis was trying to get close to the trainer. Noiz could barely work because of dealing with the baby. The days dragged and brought everyone down. Something just had to give.

Luckily, something did.

Naomi put on her earrings. "I'm heading out now."

Noiz didn't even lift her head. "What?"

Her former student turned away from the mirror. "What?" Noiz lifted her head and glanced up at her.

"I'm awake, really I am," she said. Naomi tilted her head at her.

"Are you feeling okay?" she asked.

"Yeah, yeah."

"Look, why don't you go out to the park with Kyan-chan."

Noiz turned with a blank stare. "Huh?"

The former student frowned at her. "I don't see why you look so disappointed. This was all your fault that you fired the nanny."

Noiz used her pinky to clean her ears. "Yeah, yeah."

Her former student took a deep breath. "I'm heading out now." She turned and walked out the door. Noiz lifted her arm, waving.

"Bye," she mumbled. The baby began crying again. Noiz sighed and dropped her head.

"Coming," she muttered. "Coming." She dragged herself to her feet and up the stairs.

The park at noon did little to change anything. Noiz said on the bench with the stroller next to her. The kitty sighed and dropped her shoulders. What exactly am I doing here again? I wanted to get away and now I ended feeling trapped. Noiz paused when she felt eyes on her. She looked up and spotted a nanny with a stroll beside of her. Noiz tilted her head at her.

"What?" she asked. The nanny sneered at her, shaking her head.

"So tasteless," she muttered. The kitty tilted her head at her.

"Excuse me?" she asked. The nanny looked at her up and down. Today, Noiz had on a short black and pink kimono top with a pink fluffy skirt. The old lady stuck up her nose at the big pink flower in the kitty's hair.

"Is this who is allowed near children these days?" she asked. "So tacky." Noiz clenched her teeth.

"You know, Kyan-chan," she said to the smiling baby in the stroll in front of her. "Nanny Noiz isn't up for people talking junk about her due to the bad day that she's having." The other nanny tried to ignore her. Noiz leaned in close to the baby's face.

"Plus, Nanny Noiz has an ax in your stroller," she said aloud in a baby-like voice. "If the mean old lady keeps pissing her off, she might have to turn postal on her." The other nanny looked panicked and hurried away with her baby as fast as she could. Noiz sat back with a smirk on her face. I thought so, she thought.

At the main office of Animal House, Artemis decided to make his move. He called the buff trainer, Mai, to see him. At first, she came in with her upbeat, entergic vibe.

"You wanted to see me?" she asked. The sleazy managed broke into a huge smile.

"Yes," he said. "You are doing a good job with these boys."

"Thank you!" Mai cheered. Artemis pressed his thumbs together.

"You know, I wondering," he began. "Maybe you and I could do some sports together."

The trainer perked up at the offer. "Like tennis?"

"No... more vigourus sports."

"Like hiking and canoeing!"

"No... more like bedroom sports." Artemis gave her a cheesy grin. Mai stood up, glaring at him. He freaked when she charged towards him.

That afternoon, Naomi came home seeing red. "Noiz!"

The kitty looked up at her, innocently. "What?"

"Why is that I hear that you scarring off the nannies in the park?" the mother hissed.

Noiz gave her an innocent shrug. "She was being rude to me."

"You've been nothing but trouble to me!"

"What do you mean? I'm a joy to be around."

"My baby swore at me this morning!"

"So, she's learning how to talk, at least."

Naomi flopped down on the chair. "I can't take this anymore!"

"You and me both." But what could they do? Noiz strenched her arms above her head. Suddenly, her cell phone buzzed. Hm? The kitty pulled out her phone and looked at the screen.

"Oh," she said.

"What is it?" Naomi asked.

"It's Mosh-kun," Noiz answered. She broke into giggles. "He wants me to come back." Naomi perked up at that message.

"You're kidding, right?" she asked. Noiz showed her her phone.

"Wow," Naomi murmured. She glanced up at her former teacher. "So what will you do?" The kitty shrugged her shoulders.

"Go back, I guess."

Naomi gave her a strange look. "You serious?"

"Why not? They look like they are falling apart without me. Besides, I was getting bored here anyway."

"So when are you leaving?"

"Right now."

"Right now?"

"Sure."

"You'll come by and visit some time, right?"

"Yeah, yeah."

Naomi gave her a little smile. "Alright, see ya."

Noiz gave her a small wave. "Bye." She rose to her feet and went upstairs to pack up her things once again.
