Deadly Bore II

Mosh went in for surgery three weeks ago. Noiz buried herself into work to keep from going stir crazy. She even went as far as to clean the whole dorm. The kitty layered Mosh's side of the bed with pillows.

"He's going to want to rest when he gets home," Noiz told herself. She counted down to the days when she can take Mosh home.

-----

At ten o'clock on a Sunday, Noiz made her way to the hospital. She found Mosh waiting for her in the lobby.

"Yo," he said, waving. Noiz raced over and hugged him.

"I missed you so much," she said. Mosh slowly pulled her into his arms.

"Come on, you saw me last week," he said.

"I know," she said against his chest. "I was so bored without you." Mosh patted her on the head.

"I understand," he said. "It's okay now." Noiz smiled against his chest.

The couple made it back to Animal House. They expected a nice, quiet afternoon together. Mosh would sleep in their bed and Noiz would do some last minute work on her laptop. Nothing too much. That goes down the drain... Right about... Now...

Noiz unlocked the door and opened it. Her face dropped at what she saw.

"Oh..." she said. Perry looked up and saw Noiz and Mosh staring at him.

"Hi," he said in a small voice.

"What are you doing here?" Noiz asked.

"I did it," the former student said. Mosh raised his eyebrow.

"Did what?" he asked. Perry rose to his feet.

"I have left my wife," he said.

"Left her what?" Noiz asked.

"I am leaving Shannon for good," Perry said. The couple looked at each other, shocked.

"Are you serious?" Mosh asked.

"Yes!" Perry said. "Shannon is an awful woman. She drinks too much. She's slept with all my friends. I don't remember a time when she wasn't drunk. My kids are a nightmare. I'm not sure that I'm really the father. The worst part was that she was so upset that Mosh-sensei didn't die." He grabbed his hair.

"I couldn't take it anymore!" the man wailed. After a short pause, Noiz broke down clapping.

"Good for you," she said. "You finally saw that light. Great job."

"It took me a long time to get here," Perry said. Mosh's right eye twitched.

"So... what are you going to do now?" he asked. His former student shrugged his shoulders.

"I don't know," he said. "I'll stay here for a little bit, I guess." Noiz and Mosh stared at him with big eyes.

"What?!" they asked. Perry blinked at them.

"Is that a problem?" he asked. The couple quickly shook their heads.

"No, no, no!" they were quick to say. Perry clapped his hands together.

"Great!" he said. "This is going to be so much fun!" He didn't notice the distressed looks on Noiz and Mosh's faces.

----------

Two weeks brought a boring hell. Perry just wouldn't shut up. Recovery was supposed to be a peaceful time. Mosh spend most of his time in bed with a pillow over his head. This morning was no different. The mouse boy silently prayed that his former student would finally leave and go somewhere else.

Mosh froze when they heard footsteps walking into the room. His eyes shifted around.

"Who's there?" the mouse boy whispered.

"It's only me," Noiz said in a low voice. Her boyfriend turned over in his bed. Through the pillows, he could see Noiz leaning down to him.

"How are you holding up?" she asked.

"I don't know how much more I can take," Mosh said. "How long is he staying here?"

"I have no idea," Noiz said. "Can't we send him back to his wife?" The mouse boy's head popped up.

"We can't do that," he said. "That would be too cruel to him."

"But is it worth our sanity?" the kitty asked. Mosh narrowed his eyes at his girlfriend.

"So what should we do?" he asked.

"I'm still working on that," Noiz mumbled. But, they would all be distracted with a bigger picture. It all started with a blast from the past.

Perry was in lobby, filling out the paperwork for a dorm transfer. He had just finished up everything and turned in the papers when he turned around to leave. His eyes widened as he saw who was walking in.

"Leslie?" he asked.
