Chapter Three: Dwight:
-Dwight-
I straightened up my navy tie. It looked
perfect with my dark grey suit. I was going to the announcement party tonight. I
was so ecstatic. This was the first TZA function that I was invited to. Usually,
I’m invisible to them. The lovely girls are always annoyed by me because I pop
up behind them from out of nowhere. But Maggie called me this afternoon and
invited me formally. They either accepted me as their own or this was a sick
joke they cleverly plotted. But I didn’t care, I was going to be with my
favorite women in the world tonight.
I gave myself another hard look into the
mirror. My cheeks were fat and easy to pinch like a baby’s. I still needed to
lose weight. Kellie called me a teddy bear and kept poking my stomach and
laughing. That embarrassed me completely. But I tried to lose weight, Amethyst
was whining at me not to. So I did stop. Now, I’m trying to lose weight again to
charm them. My suit feels tight on me. I would change into something but this is
the suit I have. I couldn’t just hear Bi-Ling’s voice about my suit right now.
(Bi-Ling: Aw! Look at the lost toddler! Do
you lose your mommy? *Pinches his cheeks*)
My face became red all ready. Nothing I did
impressed the girls of TZA. It seemed like no guy did. I watched and followed
Mosh, Anthony, Art, Chris, Matt and the girls’ loves around to learn their
secret on how they won these princesses over. So far, they still have me
baffled. I decided to just kind watching and taking notes. I was determined to
date a Tokyo-Zion girl! The only problem was that I was… well… a loser. The dork
that either had no date to the prom with or thought he had one but got stood up
by her. Noiz and her girls were out of my league. Noiz was
way beyond my league.
Think of it this way, think how the hottest and popular girl in your school is
out of your league and then realize Noiz is farther than that! She never noticed
me. I was just wanting what I couldn’t have. Married or not.
(Bi-Ling: You got that right!
Dwight: Don’t rub it in!)
I heard my cell phone beep. I pulled it out
of my pocket and looked at it.
6:28 p.m.: Go to
wedding announcement party at Activity Center downtown.
I grinned to myself.
(Dwight: Show time!)
Then I marched out of the door of my
apartment full of pride.
------
Downtown was far away from where I lived.
That was no problem if you had a car. There is a just one small problem to this
situation: I had no car! I don’t even have a bike to get there. (Dwight: Great!
Not only am I a loser but I’m a loser with no vehicle what so ever!) I hang my
head and begin walking. Lucky for me tonight it’s not raining because otherwise,
I would have been out of luck.
Despite the jocks in cars laughing at me
because I was walking instead of driving, I made it to the Activity Center
pretty well. The Center was a
huge building. This was just like the YMCA in America only
better. I peeked around inside the glass doors. I saw Jun-Jun sitting in the
lobby. She was so hot dressed in a short and tight black dress and black
stiletto heels. Her sliver anklet caught the light from above. She looked bored.
I was excited by the mere sight of her. Lustful thoughts about her naked in bed
danced in my head.
I got so excited that I frantically knocked
on the glass. She looked up from her boredom and saw me. Jun had disgusted look
her and began to walk away in a huff. I was too much in my desire to be crushed.
I pushed opened the doors and I walked through.
I pursued my vixen down the hall to the
dining room. The smell of food made me lose my head even more and sped up. I
followed her into the dining room and found Jun-sama talking Maggie. I listened
in half-mindedly.
Jun: What is
he doing here?
Maggie: I invited him here.
Jun: Why?
Maggie: I don’t think it’s fair to leave
anybody out. Even if he isn’t welcome.
Jun: Okay. Okay.
That made my night. I felt like a man for
once. One of those goddesses actually cared about me! I floated right into the
dining room and past them to see who all was here. I saw Bi-Ling sitting all
alone near the window. She looked great in her short dark plum Chinese-style
dress. Her hair was in a lovely bun ponytail. She too looked bored. I hurried
over to her. Wild China looked up at me and grew annoyed.
Dwight: Hi there!
Bi-Ling looked up a down at me and tried not
to laugh loud and hard.
Dwight: What?
Bi-Ling: Aw! Look at the lost toddler! Do you
lose your mommy? *Pinches his cheeks*
(Dwight: Shot down! But I can’t let her see
that!)
Dwight: Thank you.
Then I reached out, took her hand, and kissed
it. I saw she looked like she was going to throw up on me.
Dwight: You look pretty.
I noticed that Bi-Ling was genuinely smiling.
My confidence shot right back up again. I had hit a great cord. All right had to
do now was say the right words and not by dorky, and Bi-Ling would be the first
girl I would charm.
Dwight: Tell me, how did Ben charm over the
bride?
Bi-Ling: Wearing her down, I guess. I don’t
know.
Dwight: I see.
Bi-Ling: Yep.
I sensed that I was boring her. (Dwight: Time
to change the subject!)
Dwight: How are things with you and Joseph?
Bi-Ling: Good.
Dwight: I’m still single you know. I’m still
looking though.
Bi-Ling: Uh… right. Hey look, if you are
looking for Kellie and Sapphire, they’re outside in the Zen garden.
I looked where she was pointing. The garden
looked a look dim. I couldn’t really tell if she was lying or not. But it was
clear she was to get rid of me to stop annoying so she could have so quiet away
from my mouth. Usually I was broken and lower than trash. But tonight, I was in
bliss.
Dwight: Okay!
Then I happily raced outside to the Zen
garden.
--------
I walked around the garden for a few moments.
The night was perfect out here. It is a nice feeling with the clear air and soft
lights from the ground lamps. This was heaven on earth.
Then, I spotted Kellie and Sapphire near the
man-made lake. They were just as fine as ever. Kellie had on short pink summer
dress and pink sandals. Sapphire had on a light teal short Chinese-style dress
with pink chopsticks in her hair. Both were talking to Emerald on Kel’s
sidekick. I decided to listen in.
Kel: Are you sure she just didn’t get cold
feet?
Emerald: I called her house and her cell, no
answer. She’s not home. And no one knows where she is.
(Dwight: They’re talking about the bride! And
she’s missing!)
Sapphire: Oh no. This is bad.
Emerald: This isn’t like her to disappear
like that. Even if she’s…
Sapphire: A slut?
Emerald: Yeah, that’s true.
Kellie: Listen, just come to the center and
we’ll figure out something.
Emerald: K.
Then they hung up. I felt sick with worry.
The bride was A-WOL. Buy why?
Then, I felt something grab me and drag me
into the bush behind me. A boy about my age put his hand over my mouth. He had
short blackish brown hair and deep plum-colored eyes. The boy was also dressed
in a nice dress suit. I instantly recognized him.
Dwight: *Muzzled* Kenney?
Kenney: Shhh!
Kenney was the new summer intern of the
academy. He was like me only he attracted the TZA girls not drive them away. I
would give anything to have his charm!
Kenney: Not so loud! Scarlet and Josie will
hear me and try to molester me!!!
Scarlet and Josie were TZA biggest campus
harlots. They praised sex like air. Josie had been divorced three times and had
many love holidays. (Dwight: I call love affairs “love holidays”.) That didn’t
stop her from looking. Josie even hits on me when she is desperate. Now, Scarlet
on the other hand, was something else. She was a femme fatal to the core! She
could eat a man eat and
still
want seconds! This vampire vixen had tried to get me to sleep with her too. I
admit that I about fall for it too. But Kellie had saved me from shame.
(Dwight: I think she likes me!
Kellie: Not in that way!
Dwight: Damn! So much for wishing!)
Anyway, Kenney apparently was their latest
victim. I just nodded in silence. Kenney looked around quickly. I studied his
face hard. He was a lovely boy. I felt myself getting hard at the sight of him.
I was straight and I even wanted to sleep with him! No wonder the TZA girls
wanted to sex him up!
Then, we had a high whistle above us. Kenney
and I looked up with a jerk. Josie was looking over us with a cat-like grin. She
had on a tight little red dress that covered her bottom and was low cut to show
an eyeful of cleavage. Kenney and I were blushing hard because from our angle,
we could see up her dress. She had on a tight lacy wine red thong. Her red
four-inch stiletto heels weren’t helping either. We wanted her to turn around
and leave. But she just stood there grinning.
Josie: Guy-on-guy action! Always my favorite
choice for some entertainment in the bedroom before the real games begin.
Kenney and I grew sick and humiliated by that
statement.
Dwight and Kenney: We’re not gay!
Josie giggled.
Josie: Then why are you two in a bush
together?
She asked that so loudly that Kellie and
Sapphire looked up at us. Kenney and I just wanted to crawl under a rock at that
point.
When we all got inside to the dining room,
Noizchild and Emerald were sitting at the table talking. They both looked upset.
Noiz: And nobody knows where she is?
Emerald: I even called her cell twice and she
didn’t answer. She usually answers her cell in a flash.
Noiz: Let me try it.
She picked up her pink and white cell phone
and dialed the bride’s number. Emerald sat by her and waited patiently. Noiz
tried to call the bride three times. Afterwards, she hung up and quit. She
looked as if she was going to throw up. The glowing hope in Emerald’s face
vanished.
Noiz: Something is wrong.
Emerald clinched her pretty fists.
Emerald: How do we tell Ben?
Just then, Ben Robinson walked straight in.
He looked like he was in heaven. I pitied him for the bad news to come. Noiz and
Emerald got nervous.
Noiz: I’ll tell him in private.
Emerald: All right.
Noiz rose up from her seat to reveal her
short black Chinese-style dress with pink trimming on it that showed off her
shapely hourglass figure and walked lightly over to the groom-to-be. She took
him lightly by the arm and walked him to the kitchen. I watched the door closely
as I sat down at the table. I guessed it was a few seconds but it felt like
hours.
Finally, Noiz and Ben returned. Noiz tried to
looked stoic but it was backfiring on her miserably. Ben looked crushed. His
face was red and hot. We all sat at the table with appetizers on our plates as
they walked to the table. Noiz sat down but Ben stood hard with his super read
face. He yelled out in a harsh wife,
Ben: My bride has run away!
That caused the room to stir. Whispers were
everywhere. I just hung my head down in misery. First I get called gay and now
this? Could away else go wrong?
Sadly, in eighteen days, it did!
