Fun Trip

Noiz came up with the latest scheme at her laptop. She paused her fingers over the keyboard.

"Mosh-kun," she spoke up. "Let's go on a trip." The mouse boy looked up from his manga.

"Where to?" he asked. Noiz shrugged her shoulders.

"I don't know yet," she answered.

"You don't know?"

"Nope. Hang on." Noiz got onto Google and looked up different destinations for a vacation. "How about South Korea?"

"You sure?"

"Yeah. Let's go to Seoul for a couple of weeks."

Mosh shrugged his shoulders. "Sure." Noiz sat back, squealing. However, there was a slight hitch in the plan. Noiz frowned as she realized it.

"How will we fund it?" she asked. Mosh looked up at her, puzzled.

"What are you talking about?" he asked.

"They've got my budget tied up this month," Noiz explained. "I have to spend it towards the academy and my editors."

"Seriously?"

"Yep." Noiz sighed as she tried to think of how to fix the problem. Mosh lifted his head.

"We could use my money," he suggested. Noiz looked up at him.

"We can't!" she said.

"Why not?"

"Are you saving it up for that convention next month?"

Mosh waved her off with a smile on his face. "Got canceled. It just fell apart."

"You sure about using the money for our trip?"

"Yes."

"Okay... Do you have your passport?" Noiz asked. Mosh shook his head.

"Right..." the kitty replied. "Well then, we'll have to get you one, yeah?"

"Yes," Mosh replied. However, the couple ran into another slight problem.

--------

In the city, Perry sat in the yard of his apartment. A littl smile formed on his face.

"Shannon," he spoke up. His drunk wife glanced up at him. He took her incoherrent mumbling as a reply.

"Mosh-sensei was my favorite professor," he said.

"Meh..."

"I want to give him a present somehow."

"Meh..."

Perry turned to her with a huge smile on his face. "Which is why I happened him out with his bank accounts." His wife lifted her head.

"Money?" she asked. Perry gently pushed back her face.

"Not for us," he said. "It's for a better cause."

--------

"What?!" Mosh screamed at the bank downtown.

"I'm sorry," the teller said. "All of the money in your checking got moved into a fund."

"I didn't move it!"

"I know, sir. Your representative did."

Mosh's jaw dropped. "Perry?"

"That's right," the teller replied. Mosh stomped his foot.

"Damn it!" he snapped. "That's not right!"

"I'm sorry sir," she said. Noiz gritted her teeth.

"There must be something we can do," she said. "Which fund did Perry put it in?"

"Let me see." The teller typed up the information on her computer. "Here it is: The New Shiny Future of Love Fund." Mosh dropped his shoulders, defeated.

"It can't be..." he said. The mouse turned to Noiz. "We can't get that money back." Noiz's lips curved into a smirk.

"Maybe not," she said. Mosh looked up at her.

"What are you talking about?" he asked. "We can't get that money back. The Sunao Group owns it." Noiz wrapped her arm around his shoulders.

"Don't worry about it," she said. "I can get your money back." Mosh tilted his head at her.

"But how?" he asked. "You will be going up against the Sunao Group!" The kitty gave him a little smile.

"I have just the thing that will make them listen," she purred. The deiveance in her tone made the mouse's spine break on into chills.

"Noiz-tan... what are you planning to do?" he asked. Noiz only patted him on the back.

"Right now, we shall get your passport!" she cheered. She walked him out of the bank and straight to the post office. Mosh looked around, panicked as they went out the door.

"Noiz-sama?" he asked. The glass doors slid closed. His kitty girl snickered at herself during the walk to the post office. If she was correct, Noiz figured out the identity of the man in the photo of the two people kissing in front of the house she photographed yesterday. Just eight more hours before that dinner, she thought. Pretty soon, Mosh-kun and I will be flying to Seoul, South Korea! Mosh gulped at his girl's soft snickering.

Please don't do anything stupid, Noiz-sama, he thought once they came up to the post office doors.
