Who Lied to You?
Alright, I was standing the line at the post office, trying to ship a gift for a friend's birthday in Poland. It had been a long morning and I just wanted to get this over with and go home. The long line didn't help, but I wasn't focused on that. Suddenly, I hear screaming. The other people in line and I turn to see this six-year-old girl running all over the place, screaming her head off. This girl, on my god! She made me see why so of my co-workers at the academy hate kids so much. That kid was rolling around on the floor, throwing things, and pulling on the purses there. Many people easily became annoyed, me included. Her mother wasn't much help either. One of the other people in line tried to talk to her, but she only smiled and shrugged.
"She's just hyper," she replied. I sneered at her response. The worst part was the giggling. She tried to laugh it off like it was nothing. Excuse me, but who lied to her and told her that behavior for a child was cute and acceptable. Sorry hon, but it's not! That mother isn't the only one who I think someone lied to her.
I keep seeing these girls wearing tight, trampy clothes. It's gotten so bad that it's to the point where they are barely wearing anything that keeps there butts where they are supposed to be. Whoever lied to them saying that that's okay needs to stop. The same goes to those so-called "critics" that sing praises about movies in advertisements and they turn out to be total crap. Just, stop lying. No one really wanted to see them; they were bombs anyway.
Most of the lies apply to fashion. The 80's trends were bad enough that I witnessed, why bring them back? America isn't the only guilty party here. Russia is just as bad when it comes to fashion and it still is. Frizzy fro hair, brightly colored platform boots, multi-colored tights, jean clothes, brightly-dyed hair... Please, stop! Stop wearing them, people! Whoever is telling you it looks good is lying to you. Trust me, it doesn't look good and they are not your friend. I rest my case.
