Chapter Three:
Flying Away into Dreams
Kyoko was only
twelve when she first met him. Such a beautiful stranger in the woods. When she
first saw him, she thought that she was walking into a dream. He had wings. Oh,
he had wings. Kyoko couldn’t see his face, but she already knew how beautiful he
was. She found herself walking over to touch him. Her body seemed to move on its
own. Why was her heart racing so much? Kyoko found herself unable to turn away.
“You don’t want
to do that,” he said. The little girl froze in her tracks. She looked up as he
turned around. Was it even possible to have eyes this purple? So clear and they
made her feel like the only person in the world.
“W-W-What do you
mean?” she asked. The beautiful being knelt down in front of her.
“I don’t want
you to cut your fingers off,” he told her. The way he spoke commanded her
attention. Her cheeks turned bright red. He said something else as well, but she
couldn’t hear him through his beauty. But he did promise her one thing.
“I will see you
again when you are older,” he said. At least that’s what she thought he said.
She hasn’t stopped thinking about him since.
Tonight, Kyoko
is looking for him again. She looked like a bride in her short white dress. A
long white covered her long black hair. Eighteen years old and ready to be taken
by her man of the forest. Kyoko walked around look for the winged man.
“Where are you?”
she asked. Kyoko didn’t know too much about him. She didn’t even ask him his
name. The young woman could only remember his eyes and his wings. Kyoko reached
out into the darkness. An icy chill ran through her fingers. Something, or
someone, pulled her close to their body. Kyoko opened her eyes and looked. There
were those purple eyes again. Her cheeks flushed red.
“It’s you,” she
murmured. He spoke to her, but she couldn’t understand what he was saying.
“What was that?”
she asked. This beautiful creature kissed her on the lips. She didn’t fight
back. Her heart did little flips in her chest. His hands moved all over her
body. Kyoko closed her eyes and whimpered. His hand slowly moved up her long
skirt. His fingers slipped into her panties. Kyoko threw back her head and
moaned.
“Oh…” she
whimpered. His fingers tickled her entrance. Her legs felt like they were
turning to jelly. Her heart pounded against her chest. He kissed her on the
neck.
“Take me,” she
whispered. “I have waited so long for this. I love you.” He never speaks. But,
he always seems to know what she is thinking. Kyoko felt her feet rising off of
ground. He turned her to face him in the sky. She opened her eyes and looked
into his dreamy purple ones. There was only one thing she had to do.
“I am yours
now,” she said. “Take me as your bride.” He softly kissed her on the lips. His
hand slipped behind her and unzipped her dress. The white lace flew into the
water below. She reached forward and pulled away his obi. His wings popped out
as his gray robe joined her dress in the water. Her underwear fell to the lake
and Kyoko spread her legs for him. They would end up making love in the summer
sky. The man could ever compare to him. She had been waiting to see him again
her whole life. What was he really? Where did he even come from? What did he
want with her after so long? What was his name? All of that didn’t matter to
Kyoko.
“I love you,”
she said again.
“I love you too,” he said for the first time. They slept entwined in his bed in the sky. Kyoko never wanted to leave his side again.
