Long Feeble Day

-6:00 p.m.-

Mandy flopped back onto her bed in her dorm.

“I can’t take this anymore!” she complained. Mandy rolled over into her side.

“What’s wrong?” Kili asked. The older intern lifted her head.

“Boys are stupid,” she said.

“What happened now?” the Italian girl asked. Mandy shook her head.

“Dumb stuff.”

“Oh.”

The older intern rolled over onto her side, rubbing her forehead. “Why are they so dumb?”

“Oh…” Kili said. Mandy groaned aloud.

“I need a vacation,” she said.

“Yes,” her roommate said. The older intern placed a pillow over her face and groaned.
