Chapter Twelve: Pact:

There were two pacts made that day.

Hours later, Noiz awoke to find Mosh sitting over her.

“Hey,” the mouse whispered to her. His wife gave him a long blank stare.

“You didn’t leave?” she asked. “Don’t you have a meeting today?” Mosh smiled as he shook his head.

“Nah,” he said. “I decided to stay here with you.” His wife gave him a rather confused look on her face.

“What?” she asked. The mouse boy pressed his forehead against hers. Noiz felt her cheeks heating up as he grabbed onto her hands.

“I know this has been hard on you,” he said in a low voice. “But I will stay by you no matter what.” Noiz looked at him with big eyes.

“Mosh-kun…” she murmured. He softly put his finger to her lips.

“Don’t talk,” he whispered. “I just need you to doing something for me in return.”

“What?” his pregnant wife asked. Mosh gave her a little kiss on the tip of her nose.

“I will help you get through this and stay by you no matter what,” he said. “But you have to try and help yourself as well.” The kitty began to speak, but her husband cut her off.

“No, dear,” he whispered. “You are not handling this too well. I’m worried that you might harm yourself or the baby. Please, for all of our sakes!” Noiz looked at him with big, blank eyes.

“Have I really been that bad lately?” she asked. Mosh gave her a slow nod.

“I don’t like seeing you like this,” he murmured. His wife’s eyes glanced down at the sheets below.

“I’m so sorry,” she whispered. The mouse boy shook his head at her.

“You’re going through a tough time,” he said. “It’s okay to talk to someone about it.”

“Anyone?” the pregnant kitty asked.

“Anyone,” Mosh repeated. Noiz gave him the cute little look of a newborn kitten.

“Do you have time to listen to me?” she asked. Mosh smiled as he patted her on the head.

“I have all day if you need to,” he said.

In the Heavens, Roka and Jiao lied in bed together. His hand closed around hers. “You have given me a new purpose,” he told her. Jiao glanced over at him with narrowed eyes.

“Is that so?” she asked.

“Yes,” her new play thing answered.

“And what would that be?” the lusty deity questioned him. The former priest turned to her with a smile on his face.

“I will do whatever it takes to keep Noiz and Mosh together,” he announced boldly. Jiao raised an eyebrow at him, smirking.

“I mean it,” Roka insisted. The glow on his face began to dim. “I can’t do it alone however,” he confessed. The former priest rolled over on his side. “I ask this of you,” he said while staring into her golden eyes. “Please aid me in my new mission.” He expected her to laugh at him, but instead, Jiao lifted her head.

“You’re serious about this?” she asked. Roka gave her a small shrug.

“I guess…” he answered light-heartedly. His mistress shook her head.

“It’s either you are or you aren’t,” she told him. “You cannot guess.” Roka gave her an ambitious smile as he rolled on top of her.

“I am serious about this,” he answered. “I am more serious about this than anything else in my life!”

“And you’re sure about this?” Jiao asked.

“I am positive,” the former priest answered. His mistress gave him a devilish smile.

“Alright then,” she said. “I’ll aid you on your cause.” Roka pressed a kiss onto her plump lips.

“I thank you,” he whispered. She pulled him into her arms and rolled on top of him. The former priest’s eyes lit up with excitement.

“Take me, mistress!” he pleaded in a gasp. Jiao laughed aloud at his request. Her toy gave her a blank stare.

“What?” he asked. Jiao smiled as she shook her head.

“Two years before, you’ve fought me tooth and nail in situations like this,” she pointed out. Roka gave her a warm smile.

“I guess I have changed,” he said. Jiao leaned down for another kiss before starting up round two of their carnal ride in bed.
