Nina Perry

    No one can really wrap their head around Nina at all when they first meet her. She is just so many times. The woman keeps to herself most of the time. But once you get close to Nina, she'll open up little by little. She used to work at Red Bull as a stripper. But, she quit at twenty-seven because she wanted to be alone. But then the next year, along came a PI named Vince Parkman. He caught her attention and wouldn't let it go. Now, they run into each other constantly. But yet, Nina has a dark past to her. She suffered at the hands of abuse when she was really little. The girl was even driven to murder because of it. At fifteen, Nina lied about her age to work at Red Bull as a stripper. For twelve years, Nina made good money. But now that she's quit working and met Vince, she is now struggling with some old inner demons. The only way to survive is through her friends and Vince.

Vince Parkman

Age: 28

    Vince is like everyman. He was just a Private Investigator who was swept up into the glamourous world of Akai-chi island. The man was looking for his estranged wife when he ran into Nina. Now, he finds himself uncovering the dark and twisted truth about what happened to the island in 1974. Everyone is warning not to dig too close, but he keeps on anyway. As he does so, he grows to develop more enemies. The only people on his side are the girls from Red Bull and Nina. But even that's not enough to keep Vince out of the world of trouble that he is digging off. The only thing everyone can do is just to pray for him and hope that he finds his way out alive again.

White Rabbit

    This is the mysterious blog writer who goes under the name of White Rabbit. She knows all about everyone and everything in Akai-chi island. Everyone fears White Rabbit to their very core. She really has that much power. But who is she really? Nobody can really put a face or a name to her at all.

Madam Choi

Age: 50

    Choi is the owner of Red Bull. She holds her girls to a high standard. She does not allow drugs or prostitution in the club. Choi wants her girls to be healthy and curvy. She acts like a mother to all of her workers and encourages them to keep their private lives separate from work. Choi knew about Nina's situation and true age when she first came to the Red Bull after running away from home. Choi took a risk of losing her license to help the young girl. Now, she and the others help Nina survive and fight off her inner demons. Choi is also helping keep Vince safe on his quest for the truth.

Sylia Botwin

Age: 43

    Sylia is the council chairman of Akai-chi island. She is on a mission to clean up the whole island. Sylia wants to put all of the drug dealers, pimps, bars, and strip clubs out of business. But every time she starts up a plan to do so, it always blows up right in her face. Her main enemy is Madam Choi and her girls. Choi isn't really worried about Sylia though. She just sits back and laughs at the chairman when she screws up and makes a fool of herself. Sylia is pretty much a hypocrite.

Didi Manson

Age: 14

    Didi is the child prostitute sent to seduce Vince and ruin his reputation as the good guy. Lucky for them both, he didn't take the bait. Now, he and Nina both play guardian to her until they can get her off the island. Didi is a very bright child. She is trying to play matchmaker to Vince and Nina. The girl knows how to survive on the tough island. The girls of Red Bull see her like a little sister.

Tess Mayfair

Age: 30

    Tess is a tough-talking, chain-smoking, bitchy stripper at Red Bull. She is really close to Nina. The woman tries to help her best friend whenever she can. But, Tess has some darkness in her past as well. She has had drug problems and trouble with the law. The woman used to be a child prostitute as well. On top of that, she has had a failed marriage from her long-time drug addicted adulterous bigot misogynist husband, Danny. He used to beat and torment her while they were married. One day, she got up and left him without any warning. Danny didn't even care at all. Tess has been battered so many times, that nothing really effects her anymore. Now, she trying to turn her life around for good.

June Thurman

Age: 36

    June is enigmatic beauty. She frequents the Red Bull and co-owns it with Madam Choi. This woman knows what she wants and is not afraid to receive it at all costs. Men fear her and women want to be her. She had a long battle to come up from poverty and toughen up into the woman that she is today. She dabbled in prostitution in the 90's. June made enough to support herself after her lover's death. She doesn't care if you are male or female, if she fancies you, she'll pursue you. As Tess says, "June will do anything that moves and has a hole in it!" The woman seems to be proud of this little fact. June doesn't care about what people think about her. She just does what she wants.

Haley Scott

Age: 28

    June's latest lover, Haley is a young widow with three children. She lost her husband earlier this year. Haley is a young English teacher trying her best to pick up the pieces and cope after her loss. But then, she runs right into June and they embark on a steamy relationship together. Now, Haley has a few things to work on with her sexuality and the people in her life. She is sweet and mild-mannered. Also, Haley is highly intelligent and an excellent singer. June is pushing her to live her dreams and be free again.

Lucy Aniston

Age: 23

    Lucy is a waitress/stripper at Red Bull. She is the youngest of the group. Lucy is a very bright woman. She often helps Nina and Vince. But, Lucy has an eighteen year thug boyfriend on the side. She keeps him well hidden. Cole, her boyfriend, constantly hits her up for money to score drugs. But that is not all that Lucy is hiding. She always seems to making calls to someone else on her down time. And what does she have to do with Vince?

James Taylor Cook

Age: 31

    Cook is a powerful local drug dealer and pimp. He is a monster and womanizer. Cook has three obsessions: Tess, Nina, and Vince. He won't stop until he has all three of them completely under his power. The man knows how to get what he wants without any problems. June and Cook have some dark history together. He also loves to terrorize innocent women such as Haley. Cook has some friends in high places and slides through the cracks all too easily.
