Go Away Now!

Noiz gritted her teeth. I can't take this crap anymore! She decided to run away. In the middle of the night, the kitty packed up her things and slipped away from Animal House. The next morning, Mosh woke alone. The mouse looked around rather puzzled, at first.

"Noiz... -sama..." he said. When he noticed that some of her things were gone, he had a rough idea of what happened. She's flown, he thought. Mosh climbed out of bed and went about his day. The other boys naturally began asking questions.

"Where's Noiz?" they asked. Mosh shrugged his shoulders.

"She just left," he said.

"But why?"

"She just did."

"What did you do to her now?" Graham asked. Mosh shrugged, shaking his head.

"Nothing," he said. "She's been in a crabby mood and just took off in the middle of the night."

"Do you know where she went?" Graham asked.

"Yes, actually," the mouse boy said, nodding. Another member of Animal House's ears perked up.

"Where?" he asked.

"Knowing her," Mosh answered. "She's probably Naomi's house now."

Meanwhile, Noiz knocked on Naomi's door.

"Coming!" the younger woman shouted. Noiz looked up at the wind chime hanging over her head. She breathed as she could feel the freedom flowing through her body. Yes, this is what I needed, she thought. Free at last! Free at last! The kitty turned her head when the door opened. Naomi gave her a strange look.

"Noiz?" she asked. "What are you doing here?" The kitty clapped her hands together.

"Great!" she said. "You're just the person I want to talk to!" Her former student tilted her head at her.

"What is it?" she asked. Noiz quickly grabbed her by the hands.

"I need to stay here for a little while," she said.

Naomi blinked at her. "Why? Did something happen?"

"Never mind that! Let me in!" Noiz said, pushing her aside to go in. Naomi sighed and rolled her eyes.

"Oh come right on in, why don't you?" she mumbled under her breath. The business woman closed the door behind them. Noiz made her way into the living room and spotted baby Kyandesu in her playpen. The kitty's eyes filled with stars.

"Kyan-chan!" she cheered. "How are you? I missed you so much!" The kitty picked up the baby and cuddled with her. Naomi entered the room.

"I'm going to work now," she said. "Sukiko should be here in about twenty minutes." Noiz looked up when she heard the door close.

"What?" she asked. The kitty walked over to the window to see Naomi's car pull away.

"She's gone," she said in a small voice. Noiz bounced the baby in her arms.

Meanwhile back at the academy, the Animal House fell quickly under Artemis' thumb. He took it upon himself to take advantage of Noiz not busting his balls around the dorm house. His first rule of order? He decided to force the boys into long hours of excerise. With the help of a hot blonde, muscled trainer, the boys had no choice but to run laps, push-ups, sit-ups, and exercises made for an American football player. By day five, the boys were all worn out.

"I can't take this anymore," Graham complained.

"Shhh, they'll hear you," Conrad whispered.

"But what can we do?" Noah asked. "Noiz isn't here." Mosh sighed.

Come on, Noiz, he thought. Can we move on from this already? It's getting stupid. Unbeknownst to the boys, Artemis had his ulterior motives for the trainer.

----------

Back at Naomi's house, the former student pulled up into her driveway. She expected to see her daughter, have a hot dinner, soak in the tub, and go to bed. However, there would be a change in plans.

"I'm home!" Naomi called. To her surprise, the living room was dark. A confused look came onto her face.

"Hello?" she asked. "Sukiko? Noiz?"

"I'm here," Noiz replied. Naomi raced over to her.

"What happened?" she asked. "Why is it do dark in here? Where's Kyandesu and Sukiko?" Noiz set down her glass.

"The light bulb burned out," she said. "Kyan-chan's asleep upstairs and Sukiko was annoying so I got rid of her." Naomi looked at her with big eyes.

"You didn't kill her?!" she cried. The kitty gave her a strange look.

"No! I fired her," she said.

"You what?!"

"Yeah, she was useless anyway."

Naomi flopped down into the couch and sighed. "Oh great! You ruined everything." She got up and walked over to the front door.

"Where are you going?" Noiz asked.

"Out," Naomi said. "I'm going out for dinner tonight!" Noiz's ears perked up.

"Ooo! I'll come with you!" she said. Naomi whipped around, glaring.

"No!" she snapped. "You are staying here with the baby since I have no nanny anymore!" The kitty's face dropped.

"But..." she murmured.

"I don't want to hear it!" Naomi snapped. She walked out the door before her former teacher could say a word. Noiz clenched her teeth.

"Damn it," she muttered under her breath. Upstairs, the baby began crying. The kitty sighed and rolled her eyes.

"Coming, Kyan-chan," she mumbled. "I'm coming." The kitty dragged herself up the stairs.
