Hussy Hunt

Mosh and Graham dragged themselves through the lobby door of Animal House. Artemis sat on the sofa, frowning.

"Where have you two been?" he asked. Graham shouted as he pumped his fist in the air.

"Party!" he shouted.

"Party! Party! Party! Party! Party!" Mosh chanted before laughing.

"Do you know what time it is?" Artemis asked.

"Peanut butter and jelly time?" Graham asked.

"Come on now," the house owner complained. "You are too old to be acting like this! You make me look bad at the country house in Roppongi!" Graham broke down laughing.

"What's so funny?" Artemis asked.

"It's so cute that you were worried about us," Mosh said. "Are you in love with us?"

"How?" the house owner asked. "No, no, no!" Graham spun around with his hands in the air.

"Arty has a crush on us! Arty has a crush on us! Arty has a crush on us!" he and Mosh shouted. Artemis slapped his forehead.

"Why do I even bother?" he asked. Graham and Mosh laughed as he turned and walked away. The boys headed off down the hall.

--------

Mosh stumbled back to his dorm. After about five minutes, he found his key and unlocked the door. The mouse boy walked in, laughing to himself.

"Did you have a good night at the party?" a voice asked. Mosh turned to see Noiz sitting on the couch. He broke into a big smile.

"Yeah," he said. Mosh broke into laughter. The kitty walked over and embraced him.

"There, there," she said. "Let's get you to bed." Mosh's ears twitched.

"Bed?" he asked. Noiz gently pushed him off as he tried to kiss her.

"Whoa, hey there," she said. "You're too drunk for that. Why don't we get you in bed first and then maybe we'll try that tomorrow night."

"Bed! Yay!" he cheered.

"Okay, okay," the kitty said. "Let's just get you to bed. Come on, let's go." Noiz dragged him along, using her weight to keep him still.

--------

The next morning, Mosh awoke to pain in his spine and pelvis. He tried to sit up, but the pain forced him back. He lay on his side, panting. What's wrong with me? This wasn't the first time he had this pain either, but it never felt like this. The mouse didn't even have the strength to shrink himself down. He looked over at Noiz still asleep in bed. She tried to get him to go to the doctor, but he would brush it off.

"I'm just sore from not sleeping well," Mosh would tell her. Now, he wasn't so sure anymore. Mosh reached for his number and made a call.

"Hello?" he said. "I think I might have to see you today. It's that bad. Can you get me in today? Oh thank you so much! Goodbye." Mosh hung up and looked over his shoulder. Noiz turned over in bed as she pulled the sheets over her shoulder. The mouse lowered his shoulders and sighed. He got dressed and headed out.

------

There was talk around Animal House with the name "Penelope" at the party last night. At the time, they only had bits and pieces of the story. Noiz didn't pay too much attention to it.

"Has anyone seen Mosh?" she asked.

"No," Conrad said at the computer. The kitty frowned with a perplexed look in her eyes.

"Not here either," she said. The footballer turned around from the computer.

"Why? Did something happen?" he asked. Noiz shook her head.

"He just got up and left without leaving a note or anything," she said. The last part of the question circled her ears. "What do you mean by that?"

"I just heard stories," he said. Noiz raised her eyebrow.

"What kind of stories?" she asked. Conrad rubbed the back of his head.

"That party on the main campus got really crazy last night," he said. "There was a whole lot of drinking. Plus, Penelope got lose."

"Penelope?"

"Yeah. Things got crazy in the kitchen with Mosh and Noah." He didn't notice the kitty shooting him a cold glare.

"Is that right?" she asked.

"Pretty much," Conrad said, pressing his lips together. Noiz snorted.

"Right, thank you!" she snapped. The footballer tilted his head as she stormed out of the computer lab.

"What was all of that about?" he asked. He shrugged and turned back to his computer.

----------

All day, Noiz let her anger fester. Who was this Penelope? What did Mosh and Noah do with her? The kitty gritted her teeth as visions of blood filled her head.

"That bitch has to die!" she yelled.

"What are you talking about?" Noiz heard behind her. Mosh stood in the doorway with a confused look on his face. The kitty gave him a cold glare.

"And where have you been?!" she asked. "Why didn't you send me a text or anything?!" Mosh froze and shifted his eyes away from her. His girlfriend gritted her teeth.

"Out with your whore Penelope, huh?!" she asked. The mouse boy looked really confused.

"What?" he asked. Noiz slammed her hand against the door behind him.

"Who the hell is Penelope?" she asked. It took the mouse boy a little bit before he figured out what she was talking about.

"Oh!" he said. "Conrad was watching his girlfriend's dog for evening. Penelope got lose from the walk she was on with him and crashed the party." Noiz raised her eyebrow.

"A dog?" she asked. "So what happened in the kitchen with you, Noah, and the dog?" Mosh tried to keep from laughing.

"She tried to eat some of the meat in the kitchen," he said. "Noah and I tried to get her off. Penelope jumped on him and I had to try and pull her off. What? Did you think that I cheated on you at the party?" The kitty puffed up her cheeks and lowered her eyes.

"Maybe..." she mumbled. Mosh patted her on the head.

"Come on now," he said. "You know me better than that."

"Do I really?" she asked.

"What do you mean?" the mouse boy asked. Noiz glanced up at him.

"Why did you leave this morning without telling me?" she asked. "That isn't like you. Did something happen?" Mosh drew back his hand and lowered his eyes.

"There's something wrong with my body," he admitted.

"What?" Noiz asked.
