Noon at Tokyo Bay.

Kurai laid on the dock staring at the high noon sky. She snorted to herself.

Fuck them bitches, the demon kitty thought, Who needs that type of crap anyway? I can do fine all by myself! She sighed when she thought of Akitada. He wasn’t like them. That angel actually showed her kindness. Her cheeks flushed when she thought of him. Akitada was really beautiful. Now that she thought about it, her heart ached to leave him like that. However, she couldn’t stand the others.

I won’t go back there!, Kurai thought in her stubborn pride, Not even to see him! He’d have to come down to see me! Kurai sighed and lowered her head.

Who am I kidding?, she thought, I probably lost him for good after all of that crap. He probably never wants to see me again.

“Kurai-chan!” she heard a voice call out to her. The demon kitty rolled her eyes.

Yeah right, she thought, there’s no way that he’s here.

“Kurai-chan!” a boy called again.

Stop!, she thought, He’s not here. The kitty looked up to see Akitada standing over her. Kurai let off a loud gasp.

“It’s you!” she yelped. The demon kitty smacked herself in the face. “Wait,” she said, “Am I dreaming?” The angel mouse smiled and shook his head.

“No,” he said, “I’m really here.” Kurai blinked confused.

“But how?” she asked, “How did you find me?”

“This was the place we first met,” Akitada answered, “Isn’t it?”

“Yeah…” the cat mumbled. The mouse took a seat next to her.

“This was the first place I thought of looking,” he answered. Kurai’s cheeks turned bright red.

“Oh,” she mumbled, “I’m surprised you remembered.”

“Of course,” Akitada replied.

“But why?” the demon asked, “Why did you come for me?”

“I wanted to,” the angel answered simply. Kurai’s ace became redder.

“Lair!” she yelped.

“Why do you think that?” the mouse asked. His kitty turned away with a bright red face.

“Just…” she mumbled. Akitada tilted his head at her.

“What?” he asked. She pounded her fists into her thighs.

“Shut up!” she cried. The angel turned her face to his.

“I came to find you because I love you,” he told her. Kurai’s eyes widened in shock.

“Liar!” she snapped, “You’re just trying to drag me back to Heaven! I refuse!” Akitada chuckled as he shook his head.

“I’m not going back either,” he declared. Her jaw nearly dropped.

“What?” she asked in shock.

“That’s right,” Akitada replied, “I’m going to stay here on Earth with you.” Her eyes grew big in shock.

“But you can’t!” she yelped, “What about your home?”

“This place will be my home,” the angel mouse said. Kurai shook her head.

“I don’t understand you,” she said, “Why are you doing this?” Akitada hugged her close to his chest. The demon kitty gasped in shock. The angel’s lips touched her ear.

“I love you, Kurai-chan,” he whispered aloud, “I love you and I won’t leave you!” Her heart raced at his words. The kitty’s cheeks pinkened as she reached up to hug him back. So that’s it, huh?, she thought. The kitty chuckled to herself.

“They will break us up,” she said.

“Who cares?” he asked. Kurai glanced over at her boyfriend.

“You mean…?” she began to ask. Akitada let go of her with a smile on his face.

“Yes,” he replied, “I will fight with you.”

“You think we can do that?” Kurai asked. Akitada took her hand once more.

“Well then,” he announced. “We’ll give it our all.” His girlfriend finally grinned.

“Let’s give them hell, babe!” she said aloud.

“Yeah!” Akitada agreed. The demon kitty rushed forward and kissed him on the lips. Here started the war of love between Heaven and Akitada and Kurai for years to come.
