Promotional Video

Artemis came up with another scheme to get money from Animal House. It started out as a flyer and sign-up sheet. The boys all lined up for this "special project." Noiz snorted at the paper onthe bullten board. You're not fooling me you bastard! She made a trip straight to his office and knocked on the door.

"Enter!" Artemis shouted from inside. Noiz slid open the door. The dorm manager didn't even look up from "working." (She knew that he was just pretending to work.)

"Yes?" he asked.

"What are you planning now?" the kitty asked. Artemis turned a page.

"Oh, Noiz," he said. "I don't know what you're implying." She put her hands on her hips.

"I'm onto you," she hissed. "Now what are you up to this time?" The dorm manager put down his pen and looked up at her.

"You'll have to see around this afternoon," he said.

"Is that right?"

Artemis nodded at her. "Yeah. Anything else?"

Noiz snorted at him. "Not really."

He picked up his pen. "Good, then get out." Noiz muttered something under her breath as she turned to leave.

"I heard that!" he shouted.

"Good!" Noiz yelled back. She slammed the door shut behind her. Artemis rolled his eyes and pretended to work again.

By afternoon, everyone sat in the cafeteria. Noiz kept a sharp eye out for that slick bastard. He's up to something, I know it! She wasn't the only one with that thought in mind. The boys around her kept guessing what Artemis was planning to do. Mosh held onto Noiz's hand.

"What do you think it could be?" he asked. Noiz rolled her eyes, sighing.

"Another scam," she answered. "What else?" The kitty pulled away her hand. The cafeteria went silent as Artemis and Jun entered the room. The former clapped his hands together.

"Good evening!" he greeted them. "I have a special announcement for you."

"Ooo! You're finally going to the nut house?" Noiz asked. The dorm manager ignored her.

"I have contacted a local filming studio to do a promotional video for Animal House!" he announced. Applause filled the room as Noiz groaned.

"Figures!" she said. "I knew it was another scam." All eyes fell upon her.

"Scam?" Artemis asked. "Whatever could you mean?"

"Oh, come off it! What's the catch?"

"There is no catch!"

"Liar!"

"He is not!" Jun snapped as she grabbed his arm.

"Jun, you're touching me," he whispered.

"Sorry!" she said as she quickly let go. Noiz blew her bangs up from her forehead.

"But seriously, what's your angle here?" she asked.

"You don't want to be in the video?" Artemis asked.

"Why are you dodging my question?"

"Do you or do you not?"

She narrowed her eyes at him. "This is a scam, isn't it?"

Artemis shook his head, smirking. "Such a shame, it would've been nice to have an ethnic girl in the video. Espeically since..." He pulled out the casting list. "Everyone's going to be in it." Noiz rolled her eyes as he came over to her side.

"Look," he said. "Conrad, Graham, Noah, Dodge, and look Mosh too!" Noiz looked over at her lover as he gave her a sheepish smile.

--------

"How could you?!" Noiz shouted at Mosh in their dorm. The mouse boy shrugged with a goofy grin.

"It sounded fun," he reasoned.

"It's a scan!" she shouted. "You know how he is!"

"Yeah, but..."

Noiz raised an eyebrow at him. "But?"

Mosh dropped his shoulders. "Being in a movie is fun." Noiz frowned and walked off. Idiot, she thought.

So, filming began the next day. Noiz holed herself away in the East Campus Library. He is plotting a scam, but I just can't figure out exactly what he's up to this time, she thought. If only there was a way to... The kitty paused when she became aware of someone sitting next to her. She turned to see Mosh eyeing her. He put up his hand in a little wave.

"Yo," he said. His girl snorted at him.

"Aw, what's the matter?" Mosh asked.

"Traitor!" she hissed.

"Now why do you say that?"

She folded her arms across her chest. "You have sold out! Artemis is nothing but a con man and now you have become his tool, his puppet." Noiz fought to hold down a scream. "I had so much faith in you!" The kitty looked up when she heard chuckling. "And what's so funny?"

Mosh gave her a little smile. "You didn't think I already knew that?"

Noiz gave him a puzzled look. "What?"

"Of course, Artemis is trying to sell lies about Animal House," he explained. "I need your help to derail him." The kitty leaned with a smirk on her face.

"Ooo! How can I help?" she asked.

"I already have Shannon and Perry in with us," he said. "You need to operate the camera." His girl gave him a salute.

"I'm on it!" she said. Both snuck out in the afternoon to begin their work to foil Artemis once again. Easy process, really if you think about it. First, the couple managed to convince a couple of other key players to go along with them. Getting a drunken Shannon to the site of where the movie would be shoot was a bit of a pain.

"You are all my best friends!" she slurred out as Mosh dragged her out of the care.

"Right..." he mumbled. Once Noiz secured the right filming equipment, everyone got right to work on the counter project from Artemis. By Monday, the couple was ready. Mosh turned to her, grinning.

"Ready for a show?" he asked.

"Hell yes!" the kitty replied. She took his hand and walked into the cafeteria with her beloved pet. Jun led the other into the room.

"Everyone, stay quiet!" she shouted. "The film is about to start!" Noiz and Mosh grinned at each other. Five... Four... Three... Two... One. Suddenly, Jun's cell phone rang. The pair watched as she raced out into the hall with her phone. She stopped when she came past them.

"Oh, hey," she said. "Noiz could you run the film for me? The critics of the board will be in here in ten minutes. I have to go take this call." Noiz gave her an innocent smile.

"Gladly," she replied.

"Thank you so much," Jun said with a bow. The couple didn't turn around as she ran out the door.

"Did you have someone make the call to her?" Mosh whispered.

"Oh yes," Noiz replied. She got up and walked over to the laptop. Once she switched out the films with her own, Noiz waited for the critics to come in to hit play. The kitty grinned to herself. Eat this, Pig! When the critics walked into the room, she hit play.
