Writing Hunt

Noiz needed a new outlet for her work today. That same morning, she picked up her cell phone and made a little call.

"Hello?" she asked. "Are you free today? Nice. How much will it cost for two people?" The kitty made little notes to herself. "Alright, thanks. Bye." The wheels started turning in her brain as she hung up. Noiz grabbed a notepad and pencil and stashed them in her bag.

"I'm back!" Mosh called from the doorway. Noiz turned to him with a smile on her face.

"Oh good," she said. "You're here just in time."

Mosh tilted his head at her. "Why?"

His girl rose to her feet. "We're going out today."

"What for?"

"Don't ask questions and come along!" She grabbed him by the arm and led him out the door with her.

-------

Noiz led Mosh straight to the front gate. Mosh's jaw dropped at the trolly parked at the gates, waiting for them.

"Whoa!" he gasped. "How did you...?" Noiz turned to him with a smile on her face.

"Surprised?" she asked. "I have the connections." She stepped into the trolly. Noiz held out her hand to pull him in. Mosh grabbed on and climbed in next to her. His girl gave him a cute little smile.

"Ready to go?" she asked.

"Alright," he replied.

"Take us around the city!" Noiz told the driver.

"Yes, ma'am!" he said. The trolly pulled out of its spot.

"So where are we going?" Mosh asked.

"Just around the city," Noiz answered.

He gave her an odd look. "That's it."

"Yep." Noiz pulled out her camera and started taking pictures.

"So, what's the point of this trip?"

"Insipration."

"For writing?"

"That's right." Noiz took more pictures as they passed by the stores. Mosh shrugged to himself.

"Okay."

-------

The couple spent most of tutoring Tokyo. Noiz got some good pictures and notes for her work. Mosh sat next to her as she uploaded the pictures.

"What do you plan to write?" he asked.

"Don't know yet," she replied. However, Noiz paused when a certain picture caught her eye. "Hey, Mosh."

"Yes?"

Noiz pointed to the screen. "What does this look like to you?" Mosh leaned in for a better look. His face twisted into a puzzled expression.

"What is that?" he asked.

"Need some help with that?" Noiz asked. She put a little box around the image and zoomed it in. Mosh's jaw dropped.

"Oh," he said. "It's two people kissing."

"Yep."

The mouse became confused again. "So... what about it?"

"Aren't you curious about who they are?"

"Not really."

Noiz looked at him, puzzled. "What? Why not?"

"I don't understand why this type of thing interests you so much."

The kitty sat back, pouting. "You're a killjoy." The mouseboy shook his head at her. His girlfriend's frown deepened.

"Oh come on!" Noiz complained. "I need some of a creative output!" Mosh rolled his eyes and walked off.

"What?" Noiz asked.

"Good luck with your work!" Mosh shouted as he walked over to his side of the room. Noiz pressed her lips together as she nodded.

"You're loss on the mystery, buddy," she mumbled to herself. Noiz turned to her computer, saved her pictures, and got straight to work. I don't care what he says! I'mgoing to find out who that couple is and have a good story.
