Chapter Seven: Threat:

There is trouble in Aiko Suite. It started with a phone call.

Noiz had just gotten home when she noticed Mosh’s cell phone ringing on the side table in the living room.

“Mosh-kun!” the two-month pregnant kitty yelled, “Your phone’s ringing!” When her husband didn’t answer from upstairs, Noiz reached over and picked up the phone.

“Hello?” she asked, answering it.

“Who are you?” a girl asked on the other line. Noiz’s mind went into the defensive.

“I could ask you the same thing,” she snapped.

“Oh, it’s you again,” the girl muttered.

“Quit calling my husband!” Noiz hissed, “I don’t know who you are, but if keep this up, I will press charges for harassment!”

“Whatever,” the girl muttered before she hung up. Noiz clenched the phone in her hand as she growled. That’s third time this week!, she thought.

“Did you call me?” a guy’s voice asked behind her.

“What?!?” the pregnant kitty barked as she whipped around. Noiz looked and stare Mosh staring at her with big eyes.

“Baby, what’s wrong?” he asked. Noiz shoved the phone in his face.

“Honey,” she said through clenched teeth, “Who the hell is Tina?” Mosh froze at that question.

“What?” he asked.

“Who is Tina?!?” the kitty snapped. The mouse turned away, frowning.

“Damn it,” he mumbled, “I was warned this would happen.”

“What would happen?” his wife hissed. He looked up to see her with her arms folded across her chest. The mouse boy sighed and dropped his shoulders.

“She’s a girl I met at a Dungeon and Dragons party,” he explained calmly.

“And?” Noiz demanded.

“We were all playing another game;” the mouse boy said sheepishly, “And Tina had been drinking.”

“And?” the kitty asked again.

“Most of our group went out to eat and I stayed behind with her because she was really messed up,” her husband went on.

“And?” his wife pushed.

“We talked,” Mosh said, breaking down, nervously, “And then…” His voice got lost in a mumble. His wife narrowed her eyes at him in a sharp way.

“And then?” she repeated. Mosh’s face began to burn with embarrassment.

“Tina kissed me!” he blurted out. The poor mouse noticed the anger burning in her eyes.

“She kissed you?!?” she barked, “SHE KISSED YOU?!?” Mosh quickly took a hold of her and pulled her into his arms.

“She was drunk and kissed me,” he explained aloud, “And now she’s developed a weird crush on me. Baby, I don’t love her. I love only you!” Noiz looked up at with the anger slowly breaking down in her eyes. Mosh sighed and kissed her on the forehead.

“I’ll talk to her,” he said at last.

“You promise?” Noiz asked so child-like.

“Yes,” the mouse muttered, “Anything to keep you happy.” This time, however, it wouldn’t be as simple as that. For he knew how clingy Tina was when it came to men that she developed crushed on. He just had the misfortunate to be her latest target. Mosh sighed and shook his head.

Oh boy…, he thought.
